In September, between 17-19, The Embassy of the Palestinian State in Romania and the Palestinian Cultural Center, present: the “Days of Palestinian Culture” in Râmnicu Vâlcea.
Music, photography exhibitions, traditional dances, presentation of traditional Palestinian costumes, presentation of tourism, Palestinian literature and authentic gastronomy – are the attractions of this true intercultural festival, realized in partnership with Râmnicu Vâlcea City Hall.
The cultural festival reflected the nature of the historical relations between the both of nations, the Palestinian and the Romanian, and aimed to get acquainted closely with the Palestinian culture and heritage.
The festival included sections to display Palestinian literature translated into Romanian, Palestinian folk dishes, embroideries, Palestinian dress, Palestinian craftsmen, and olive wood carving.
Artistic section: Dabkeh ensemble, Palestinian folk dance, playing the Romanian instrument “the flute” and oriental music. In addition to the presentation of the Palestinian dress (traditional dress with its beautiful traditional colors and embroidery.
