On the 22nd of November, we began our mid-term evaluation meeting. This meeting is a compulsory event and all the volunteers are joining. The purpose of the event is to share experiences of volunteering. We were many, so the facilitators divided us into three different groups. But the aspects were the same for all of us.
The first day started with the Well-being activities. After we introduced ourselves to everyone, we talked about what well-being is. Everybody shared their experiences so far and we discussed the challenges, the mutual experiences, our projects in break-out groups. Tuesday, we presented our projects within 5-10 minutes with all the content. Such as: ourselves, our countries, targets, activities of the project.
Wednesday, we were given information about the Tool fair. In the afternoon session, three groups came together and decided on the teams for the Tool fair. As Solidarity for Nature members, we brainstormed about our workshop and wrote one related to our project.
Thursday was an important day because we talked about the learning process and Youthpass. Youthpass is a certificate of ESC. It means that you completed your project and is also very important around the EU for the social work field. The part of the learning process was more individual. We discussed our ways of learning which of them were productive.
On the last day we shared our workshops. Ours was about UNESCO Global Geoparks. We gave them a briefing about the Geoparks. Once our presentation was over, we played a Kahoot Game. Later on, our meeting came to an end. We wished the best of luck for each other.
Despite the obligation of attending online to this meeting, we enjoyed our time. It was a pleasure seeing the other volunteers. We made new friends we compared our challenges with theirs. We shared our mutual experiences. In the end, we were happy to be in Romania and living this.
