On the 14th of May took place our project’s launching conference. Consequently, we spent a whole week organizing the event. In order toprepare everything, we divided ourselves into small groups and were assigned different tasks. We decided to divide the conference into three main parts and a brief introduction. Our project coordinator, Cătălin Soare, was in charge of breaking the ice and presenting the project to the audience, in which, among others, public TV was present. Oussama, one ofthe members of the project, finished carrying on the presentation before we started talking about every project’s member and about the project it self.
After the introduction carried by Cătălin and our colleague Oussama, we proceeded to introduce ourselves, so everyone in the audience had a brief idea about our personal and educational backgrounds. In order to do this, and instead of talking to the audience one by one, we decided to play a video that we had previously recorded in which every one of us appeared talking about him or her self. Once everyone got to know a bit about ourselves, we moved on into the main part of our conference. In this second part, we spoke about the project itself. Within it, we presented our goals, the activities we had done until that moment, the ones we would be doing in the future and our personal expectations. During the last stage of the conference, we had a fruitful talk with Simona, technological teacher at Economic High School in Rm. Vâlcea, and Bogdan, member in Vâlcea ́s Local Council. They gave us some ideas about ways in which we can help their local community and, most importantly, they offered us their support.
